Robert Walters is recruiting a Marketing Director, to be based in Luanda, Angola.

Duties

  • Develop the marketing strategy for the company image and its business units while managing the overall marketing activities including but not limited to:
  • Having the most relevant and recognizable brands and wholesale stores in Angola
  • Having our brands and warehouses be the most preferred choice amongst the targeted consumer
  • Having the most trusted wholesales store and consumer goods brands
  • Enhancing the corporate image of the company
  • Organising the marketing department efficiently
  • Manage the development and implementation of all marketing strategies in coordination with each of the company business units managers (RIA wholesale, Brandex brands, and the company image):
  • Develop, implement and manage advertising projects
  • Develop, implement and manage innovation & renovation projects
  • Develop, implement and manage promotional projects
  • Develop, implement and manage market research projects
  • Develop, implement and recommend an adaptable pricing strategy
  • Develop, implement and manage loyalty programs
  • Develop, implement and manage quality projects for our products
  • Develop and implement projects to ensure marketing consistency
  • Develop and implement projects to ensure the excellent reputation of RIA’s image
  • Develop and implement projects to ensure respect for the company image
  • Develop and implement projects to ensure respect for the company perception
  • Develop and implement projects to ensure respect for the company likeability
  • Develop and implement projects to ensure respect for the company values
  • Efficiently manage the marketing department by building solid marketing teams
  • Build the marketing management capacity at the senior management level
  • Develop and implement marketing department controls
  • Develop RIA’s overall marketing implementing UpToDate international standards and best practices
  • Develop RIA’s overall marketing implementing Lean Organization
  • Maintain regular contact with other heads of departments to fully understand the key marketing requirements of each of the company’s business units
  • Assist the Commercial Director as needed

Requisites

Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Marketing
Minimum 4 years Angolan market experience
Solid track record in marketing for the food and beverage and/or retail/wholesale industry
Fluent in Portuguese and English
