  • The Aker Solutions’ Subsea team based in Luanda, is an innovative, dynamic and highly competent team that provides advanced subsea systems and services for use in water depths down to 2000 meters. We are now looking for creative and talented candidates who can strengthen our team and support our ambitious growth plans within the Angolan market

Duties

  • Establish medium and short term Production plans based on internal client’s requirements
  • Plan area and resources in cooperation with the WS coordinator, for each Work Center in SAP
  • Ensure that spare parts/components required for any job are provided to the WS, as ordered by the Project Planner
  • Liaise with Logistics Department in order to get Equipment in and out of the workshop for maintenance
  • Ensure that the relevant sections of the WS LPIs are updated and is working
  • Will be the contact point between WS Coordinator and the Project Planner
  • Follow up time consumed per work package, take necessary action according to the deviations and report these deviations to the Project Planner
  • Monitor progress on all activities and highlight and comment irregularities, propose corrective actions. Report as required
  • Establish recovery plans, if and when necessary in the case of WS equipment failure
  • Retrieve and understand SAP reports that relates to planning and time consumed on personnel and equipment
  • Actively participate in planning and prioritizing of Project execution at all stages (Morning Meeting)
  • When required give detail plans for special areas in the different project’s
  • Produce and distribute weekly reports
  • Promote and live by the participle of “Just Commit”
  • Take responsibility for department’s performance
  • Make sure that the HSE is always maintained in plans
  • Flexibility and resource utilization across departments
  • Gain knowledge of the planning systems and methods in all departments and be able to help at vacation or sick leave

Requisites

  • Bachelor’s Degree within Management, Commercial and/or Technical Discipline. Relevant experience may compensate for lack of formal education
  • Relevant planning experience from service and/or oil and gas industry is a benefit
  • Familiar with handling service order planning applications
  • Technical expertise is considered a benefit
  • English language skills – both oral and written. Portuguese if possible
  • Good skills in SAP, MS Excel, MS Project
  • Understanding of Subsea Lifecycle Service business unit (supply chain processes, engineering processes and SEM)
