Aker Solutions’ Finance team in Angola is responsible for providing financial support to the business. We need a talented and experienced Project Controller who can strengthen our team and support our ambitious growth plans within the Angolan market

Duties

  • Ensure consistent financial control methods and performance across project sites;
  • Supervise Project Financial Controllers
  • Generate sales orders in SAP for invoicing; Prepare customer invoice, monitor and control invoice payment
  • Monitor and control cost, financial progress, estimate to complete and cash flow according to procedures and contract requirements
  • Give input to budgets and forecasts. Follow-up performance of financial control group versus budgets
  • Identification of deviations from budgets and analyze causes and consequences
  • Provide input and assist Business Manager/Project Manager in defining commercial strategies, financial targets and cost control steering parameters
  • Perform Joint Venture accounting, communicate with and inform Joint Venture Partners
  • Ensure proper hedging of contract and procurement activities
  • Ensure that all technical changes are reflected in the cost estimates; Assist and support the project’s change management process (e.g. VORs and VOs)
  • Assist and support project’s risk management process; Ensure proper risk level of the project is reflected through financial reporting
  • Provide status information and prepare input to internal and customer monthly reports;
  • Arrange and lead internal financial control meetings and cost control meetings with the Client

Requisites

  • Bachelor in Business Administration and/or Accounting experience
  • Experience with cost controlling
  • Structured and analytic
  • Proactive and innovative
  • Fully SAP conversant
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work efficiently both within a team
  • environment and with limited supervision
