Duties

Responsible for all wet subsea equipment commissioning and startup activities. He/she is responsible for the handover preparation between project and company FOPS and then from CPY FOPS to FOS Contractor, as the latter one shall operate the subsea facilities
Responsible to prepare all subsea SIMOPS. He/she shall act as SIMOPS coordinator for Subsea and drilling SIMOPS
Responsible to prepare all maintenance or specific procedure for subsea activities. He/She is responsible to prepare Permit to work related to subsea maintenance, inspection or work
Responsible for the Integrity follow up of subsea equipment (safety test, inspection, DGS etc.) He/She is responsible to assess shortfall generated by subsea equipment malfunction and to propose mitigation measures/correctives actions to fix any issues

Activities:

  • To be responsible to provide direct technical assistance for the operations of subsea facilities and related hull/topsides to the Production and Maintenance/Inspection teams
  • Verify that the sub-sea equipment are operated within their design envelope
    Participate in the HAZID, HAZOP in preparation of the interventions on sub-sea equipment
  • Identify Anomalies of the sub-sea equipment, establish a corresponding report (Non-Conformance Certificate – NCR) and propose mitigation measures
  • Supervise the execution of the operations related to the mechanical integrity of the sub-sea equipment
    Supervise executions of subsea interventions including commissioning activities
  • Contribute to update the HSE dossier and specifically, subsea equipment integrity follow-up and subsea safety valves testing
  • Define and prepare with the support team at the Base, the intervention programs on the subsea equipment: investigations, inspections, follow-up of NCR, equipment testing, particular operations
  • Participate to Kick-Off Meeting (RLO) and Pre-Service Meeting (ROC) for sub-sea equipment
  • To ensure site coordination of the sub-sea operation between the Control Room and the Field Support Vessel
  • Contribute to the collection of reliable data of sub-sea equipment (manual register, checking of automatic monitoring) and perform on a regular basis the screening of these data to detect anomalies
  • Perform a regular analysis of the management and monitoring tools/procedures and propose improvements
  • To participate in the final hand-over activities (in particular offshore OTPs, punch-list, pre-startup activities) for all subsea and hull/topsides related sub-systems in liaison with the Project Commissioning team and the Start-Up team
  • To provide day to day technical support to Kaombo Production activities at a site from pre-startup activities, to actual start-up and performance tests in order to ensure a safe, technically sound and timely start-up phase of Kaombo Field, in liaison with the Onshore Support teams
  • To assist in optimizing the Kaombo production during the first years of Kaombo operation to ensure that production targets are achieved
  • To participate in work permits preparation, pre-service safety meetings, HSE committees, SIMOPS, and audits
  • To assist the Production team to identify, report and safely manage the down-graded situations (including management of inhibits)
  • To coordinate with the Maintenance/Inspection teams to ensure that the subsea facilities integrity is adequately monitored and controlled, using the site support vessel and ROVs
  • To participate in the assessment of proposed modifications as required by the Modifications Procedure
  • To assist LOF Superintendent in preparation and updating CTR/Vendor mobilization plan/schedule for all subsea activities (commissioning and operations)
  • To be regularly present at SPS CTR, in assistance of LOF Superintendent, during repair, testing, and mobilization of equipment and tools
  • To ensure adequate and timely reporting to the Subsea Operation Leader (progress and concerns)
  • To ensure confidentiality of the related documentation produced (whatever its support)
  • To adopt and demonstrate an exemplary behavior with regard to HSSE
